Taj Mahal
This is my entry for the Clarity challenge for August BINGO. I have used gilding flakes, die and stamps.
I attached gilding flakes to a large double sided sticky sheet after applying to white card .
Cut out the frame from this gilded sheet using the Tonic Deco trellis die set.
Attached acetate to the back of this to complete the frame.
The edges of the card base were gilded as well using double sided sticky tape.
I then used my clarity brushes to create the inked area using distress inks.
Low tack tape was used to mask of areas to stamp the journaling effect in the corresponding colours.
Finally stamping the Taj Mahal Clarity stamp in the centre in archival black and the sentiment at the bottom in the same colours as the inking.
The frame was then added.
Matted and layered on black and the pink card and mounted onto 8x8 card blank.
Loved doing this it really was a challenge.

Owl Canvas
Hi everyone this is my latest entry in the clarity challenge, anything goes.
To do this I used,
The clarity Journalist set
Clarity owls
Clarity Stencil
White Gesso
Grunge paste
A variety of distress inks
Paper artsy chalk paints, prawn, jade, buff, and southern skies.
Printed book pages.
Canvas board.
Firstly I painted the board all over with white Gesso and left it to dry I then attached the book pages with gesso but didn't paint them completely.
Next I painted the board with various colours of chalk paint leaving the centre.
Stamped the owl image and images from the journaling set,.
Applied grunge paste through the stencil around the edges and left to dry.
Finally coloured the owls using chalk paints and painted watered down chalk paints onto the grunge paste leaves.
Hope you like it, it was a real challenge never used a canvas before but really enjoyed it and I am happy with my first attempt.

Boyz, Boyz, Boyz.
Hi Can't believe where the months go, time again for the monthly Clarity challenge.I tried a few designs before I was happy, I like the black and white of this one very masculine I thought.
Method
I took a piece of Gelli card from Clarity and inked up the blending mat with black soot distress ink, spritzed with water and then put the card onto this picking up the ink.
Allowed this to dry and stamped the LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE into the corner with black archival and embossed with detail clear embossing powder.
I the wrapped twine around this and mounted it onto black card, mounted again onto an 8x8 card blank.
Agin using a small piece of gelli card I stencilled the Clarity fish design using black soot distress ink.
This was then mounted onto black card and the onto apiece of Zentangled card I had previously been working on. I like the two together.
Finally adding this to the card with sticky pads.
Hope you like it?

Dandelion Clock
Hi I have been pondering for a while over the new Clarity challenge for May. As I don't have any stamps even vaguely related to a clock. So I decided to do my take on this and do a dandelion clock.
Items Used
Gelli plate, gelli card, acrylic paints, dandelion lady stamp, Clarity stencil, Cosmic shimmer texture paste frosty dawn, adirondack ink pad butterscotch, distress ink pads crushed olive & forest moss, the clarity letter box stamp set, 8x8 card blank, gold card and green card.
Method
I made a print using acrylic paints in green and buff titanium
I then stamped two dandelion images one onto the print using butterscotch, forest moss and crushed olive ink, and the other onto a small piece of spare gelli card using the same colours..
I cut the second one out carefully
I then stencilled the leaves with the cosmic shimmer paste onto the print.at the top and the bottom making sure I had room for the words.
Next I stamped the words using forest moss ink pad
finally i attached the second dandelion over the first with sticky pads to give dimension.
All that was needed then was to mat and layer to finish.

Paper moon
Hi
I thought I would enter this card in the cuttlebug mania challenge, stamping. I have used the Kimono collection and chose the paper moon.
I used a clarity stencil for the background card with butterscotch and sailboat blue Adirondack ink pads. Brush the colour through the stencil with clarity brushes. I then embossed this using the Oriental biirdcage again from the Kimono collection. I stamped the image using black archival ink onto stamping card. Coloured the image with Spectrum Noir pencils. I then cut this out with a die along with the circle. I stamped the butterflies from the Kimono set coloured and cut them out. I also stamped the sentiment and butterflies onto the circle. I put a piece of spiders web behind the topper and mounted it all together before matting and layering onto coordinating card stock. I attached the cut out butterflies and added blue gems. Hope you like it.

The wee folk
Hi I have been a little busy lately therefor I am later this month with my entry for the Clarity challenge. Loved working with these stamps so much fun. I stamped the images onto small 1.5 inch squares before clear embossing them.
I then mounted them onto black card, white embossed card and finally onto an 8x8 inch square card blank. I added a bow and sentiment to finish.
I used the Clarity wee folk stamps, the journaling set from Clarity, a clarity tree sorry not sure which one. All stamped with archival black ink. The letters are from the new Clarity set word press letter box. Hope you will have a go.
